A few weeks ago I decided to learn how to crochet baby shoes. I loaded Emily up in the car, went to the craft store, bought some hooks and yarn, and found a youtube video to follow along with. My first attempts went surprisingly well! I’ve discovered that crocheting is the perfect craft for the non-artsy individual. All it requires is counting and performing the correct stitches and then, taaadddaaa, a shoe appears.
Now that all of the baby shoes have been given away to their unborn recipients, I just had to share this little success of mine.
Emily was kind enough to try them on for me.
And she was just so cute I had to snap a few more.

So so adorable. It’s inspiring the way you teach yourself things. They’re perfect! And so is that little girl! Beautiful photography. Making me so baby hungry!
I second Faith on every front. Applause applause! And isn’t she at an awesome, loveable stage for photographs? That big camera is pretty awesome to look at! So fun.
