This weekend I braved the freezing temperatures with this incredibly photogenic family. Jonathan was the first person we met in Indiana. Within hours of us pulling in with our ridiculously oversized truck he and a few other men from our church had arrived at our apartment and unloaded the entire contents in less than a hour. This kind family has helped us out in many other ways over the last six months and I was excited to be able to take a few family pictures for them.
We decided to utilize some of the cool buildings on campus instead of taking pretend warm pictures outside. Most of the buildings were locked on Saturday so our initial plans were temporarily thwarted; fortunately, we met a really nice grad student from Malaysia who was coming out of one of the buildings we were hoping to get into and he hung out with us while we snapped a few pictures. I love getting to meet new people as well as strengthen friendships through photography!
